Olivia's House is a nationally known house where people can go to help get over lost loved ones. The center is a grief and loss center that has been in operation for almost 20 years. The assignment was to create a 40-page writing journal for the kids who go to the house for help. My concept was based off of a giving tree theme, where there is always a strong form of shelter that can always help you. Throughout the book, trees help the writer carry on. I know when I get upset about a lose I used to build mosaics that I know would have been appreciated.
